Bin Zhu received Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from Harbin Engineering University (China), June 2004 and Master of Science Degree in Communication and Information System from Dalian University of Technology (China), December 2006. The master thesis dealt with research and implementation on melting characteristics analyzer of cast iron. From September, 2006 to June, 2007, she worked as an Electronic Engineer in Laboratory for Rapid Separation and Detection, Dalian institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) she was in charge of the design of ambipolar ion mobility spectrometer detecting easy made-up drugs. After that, she worked as a teacher in Fuzhou University, China she managed the opened laboratory for electronic innovation in Experiment center. Since January 2009, she has been pursuing a Ph.D degree in Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). Her research interest is focused on scattering type near-field millimeter and terahertz wave microscopy.
